Bullions: Gold trades yesterday on sideways
note and close on higher. Other markets showed signs of stabilizing, but
remained on track for its biggest monthly rise since February in the wake of
last week's vote in Britain on quitting the European Union.

Energy: On Thursday, Brent fell 93 cents, or 1.8%. The
August Brent contract expired at settlement Thursday. The more actively traded
September contract fell $1.61, or 3.1%, to $49.71 a barrel.
