BULLIONS & ENERGY LEVELS FOR 15 July 2016

Bullions: Gold trade lower on Friday morning in international after strong equities and firm dollar. The Bank of England kept   interest rates on hold on Thursday, but held out the prospect of a stimulus package soon to help the economy cope with Britain's decision to leave the European Union.

Energy: - Crude prices held weaker in Asia, but retraced earlier losses as China GDP came in better-than-expected, aiding sentiment on demand as retail sales also showed strength. On the New York Mercantile Exchange, WTI crude for August trades at $45.27 a barrel.

Bullions: Yesterday Gold traded in narrow range after rising as much as 1 percent in the previous session, buoyed by expectations that central banks could cut interest rates. Spot gold had inched up 0.2 percent at $1,345.46 per ounce.

Energy: Crude oil off yesterday’s low in morning trade as investors bought on a dip overnight on data. On Wednesday morning, the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) said in its Weekly Petroleum Status Report that commercial crude inventories decreased by 2.5 million barrels last week. Inventories are still at historically high levels for this time of year.

Energy: Crude oil prices eases gain of Tuesday after surprising estimates of a build in U.S. stockpiles last week and on profit-taking after sharp overnight. The American Petroleum Institute reported that U.S. crude supplies rose by a surprise 2.2 million barrels for the week ended July 8.

Energy: Crude oil trades near lower range. International Brent crude oil futures were trading at $46.13 per barrel near to the $45.90 two-month lows reached the previous day. U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude was down 13 cents at $44.63 a barrel.
